Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana is located at:

12090 S. Harrell's Ferry Road, Baton Rouge, LA  70816

Administrative Office Hours are:      

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday

Our facilities are set up for individual academic, theory courses, realtime reporting practice and speedbuilding, computer lab, media/reading rooms, captioning rooms, and administrative offices within an 8200-square-foot building.

Speedbuilding classrooms are categorized for Realtime Reporting I, II, III, IV and V, each with instruction from certified court reporters and trained readers for optimum progression throgh the course. Students utilize their personal laptop computers for realtime practice in class.

The computer room is equipped with a network of Dell computers with court reporting software -- Case CATalyst, Eclipse, and Digital CAT -- laser printers and Internet access. The computers are available to students for test editing and realtime practice. Personal laptops are required for students in Realtime Reporting I through V and are required to be brought to school for use during class and test editing.

Students wishing to stay after 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday for lab hours may do so upon approval by the administrative office.
