Sherrijean Husser

Sherrijean Husser, CCR, RPR, CRI,(sherrijean.hussercril.edu) is the Executive Director and Court Reporting Program Director of the Institute. She began the school in January of 2000, after having worked as a court reporter since 1985. Sherrijean also worked as a medical transcriptionist from1981 before going to school to become a court reporter. She holds a Certified Court Reporter license in the State of Louisiana, as well as the Registered Professional Reporter and Certified Reporting Instructor certifications from the National Court Reporters Association.

"Seeing the results when students graduate and begin working as reporters has been well worth the hard work of establishing a school and to continue to improve the structure to meet the needs of future students."

Sherrijean has been married for over 30 years to Dale Husser, Sr., and has three children.

Ms. Margaret  Warner

Ms. Margaret Warner (margaret.warnercril.edu) is a graduate of Clemson University, South Carolina, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in  Industrial Education. She also attended Sumter Area Technical College, studying drafting and accounting.   Sheworked as a substitute teacher at Runnel’s School in Baton Rouge.  

Ms. Marce has been with CRIL since August of 2002 and works as an Assistant Instructor for Realtime III, IV and V.  She also works with the student services desk when needed.

She is married to Bob Warner, has three sons, and lives in Baton Rouge.
 

Ms. Lillian S.Romano

Ms. Lillian (lillian.romanocril.edu) received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master’s of Education Degree as a Reading Specialist from Louisiana State University.  She is retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board after 25 years of service. 

Ms. Romano has worked for CRIL since July of 2005 and is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge.  She works with CRIL as the Assistant Instructor to Theory I and Theory II classes.

Ms. Terri Easley

Ms. Easley (terri.easleycril.edu) has over ten years experience as a secretary and then worked for over eleven years a teacher at Parkview Baptist Preschool.  She has been with CRIL since May of 2005 and works as an Assistant Instructor for the Realtime Reporting IV and V classes.  Ms. Easley also works with the student services desk when needed.

She is married to Donnie Easley, Associate Pastor of Grace Works Church in Prairieville and has two sons and resides in Baton Rouge.

Ms. Dorothy Lamson

Ms. Lamson (dorothy.lamsoncril.edu) first received an Associates of Arts Degree from Mars Hill College and then a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Woman’s College, University of North Carolina.   She received her Master’s of Education Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.  

She worked as a teacher for the East Baton Rouge School Board and then as a University Supervisor for Louisiana State University. 

Ms. Lamson has worked with CRIL since June of 2006 and works as an Assistant Instructor for the Theory II and Realtime Reporting I and II classes.
 
Ms. Susan Albin

Ms. Albin (susan.albincril.edu) graduated from Louisiana State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociolory and a Master's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Adult Education.  Shehas also pursued her Ph.D. with a major in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology.  She has taught at Louisiana State University and did research while there.  Ms. Albin also managed a textbook store in the past, the Highland Road Book Store.  

Ms. Albin is married and has three children.  She homeschooled her children from grades 4th through 12th. She has many interests and hobbies.  Currently, she is an Assistant Instructor for the Realtime Reporting II and III classes.  She joined us in January of 2008, and we are very excited to have her as a part of our staff.
Mathew Thomas
Information Officer

Mathew Thomas (mstcril.edu) graduated from Brandeis University and holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Master's Degree in International Economics and Finance. He is currently enrolled at the New School of Social Research for graduate studies in Economics.

Mathew joined the Court Reporting Institute in May of 2008.
